AT the BritWeek 2010 Charity Event last week, Victoria Beckham stood out in a sea of dresses in a sleek tuxedo suit and satin Brian Atwood platforms for the Save the Children party at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.

The former Spice Girl later spoke to UK’s GMTV about having husband David home after surgery on his Achilles tendon.

“It’s just so great to have him back,” she said. “He’s doing really great. It’s incredible to have him home, he’s happy to be home…He’s hobbling around the house, poor thing.”

And what are his plans for the future? Victoria’s response: “Yes, he’s still going to go to the World Cup.”

Did we get that right? We can almost hear distant cheers from our barmy cousins…

In other news, rumours suggest the Beckhams are planning to ditch their life in the US to jump the pond back to Great Britain.

However, Victoria was quick to dissipate the claims.

“We love living here and we have no plans to move back to the U.K.,” she said. “The boys have a lot of friends and David loves being back in the US so much.”

“It’s a really, really, really good home. This is our home. We’re really happy here.”
