British fashion’s dynamic duo visited Carousel Shopping Centre once again for the second leg of their style tour around Western Australia, and LaVish Channel was there to witness the fruits of their labour.

Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine of hit television show What Not To Wear took the time to remind Australian women to dress up for the Spring/Summer season and not take style for granted.

As expected, the female-dominant crowd lapped up every word of advice.

“Girls, it’s time to up the ante. Learn to dress for your body and to stand out,” said Susannah.

Trinny also offered a friendly reminder to bundled up members of the audience: “We both own fleeces, but that doesn’t mean you should hide under them all the time.”

Criticisms were handed out to those wearing elasticised waistbands, masculine t-shirts and dowdy, baggy clothes and transformed with colourful summer frocks, fitted jackets and eye-catching shoes.

Ill-fitting bras were the focus of the makeovers, with volunteers stepping out with a perkier set with each and every style change.

The pair gave advice on buying for the recession, admitting to the audience that their trademark dresses were dug out from the back of their wardrobes and updated for the season.

But it was not all doom and gloom for shoppers at Westfield that day, cheers erupting when both ladies said they were some of the best dressed audiences they’ve seen on their tour.

Unsurprisingly, their appearance was once again a roaring success, leaving Perth shoppers with better ideas on what to wear for the coming sunshine.
