IN an unforeseen move, Robin Hood‘s Russell Crowe and co-stars Kevin Durand, Scott Grimes and Alan Doyle decided to sing their own rendition of Sean Kingston’s “Beautiful Girls” during a press junket for their movie.
We don’t know why, and we don’t really care because entertaining and quite impressive!
Watch the quartet’s awesome performance, complete with guitar accompaniment:
In other news, Russell Crowe reportedly stormed out of an interview with the BBC after a journalist said his British accent in Robin Hood sounded more Irish than English.
“You’ve got dead ears, mate, seriously dead ears if you think there’s an Irish accent,” said the actor.
He continued: “I’m a little dumbfounded you could possibly find any Irish in that character. That’s kind of ridiculous.”
When the interviewer continued the line of questioning, asking if Russell was channeling more of a northerner accent, the 46-year old replied, “No, I was going for an Italian,” he said. “Missed it? F*ck me!”
As the interview ventured into totally unrelated questions about his Oscar-winning movie Gladiator, Russell decided he had enough—ripping off his microphone, he headed out the door.
