THE stunning Penelope Cruz was photographed on the red carpet for the Paris premiere of Nine in this custom-made L’Wren Scott gown, Casadei pumps and a glittering minaudiere to match her jewellery. The pale pink column gown would be rather ho-hum if not for the sequinned epaulettes so she definitely gets the thumbs up from us.

One person who’s not afraid to try the bold shoulder trend is Kim Kardashian, who has also revealed that she would like Penelope to play her in a big-screen version of her life.

In a recent interview, the Kardashian sisters were asked about possibly taking their reality show to the big screen and took to their blog with ideas. Kim revealed that she wanted the Oscar winner for herself. Sister Kourtney disagreed, saying Penelope should play her instead and that Kim would be better portrayed by none other than bootylicious Jennifer Lopez. The sisters also cast Liv Tyler to play Khloe, Christian Bale as Kourtney’s boyfriend Scott Disick, and want Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas to act as their mom Kris and stepdad Bruce Jenner.

Luckily for us, there aren’t any concrete plans to bring the Kardashians to theatres!
