The new 3D trailer for Tron: Legacy premiered with Alice in Wonderland this week, but Olivia -who co-stars with returning headliner and Oscar winner Jeff Bridges – missed it because she was presenting at the Independent Spirit Awards last Friday. She wants to see the new spectacle soon, but she’s waiting it out to watch any scenes that don’t include special effects.

“I don’t really want to,” Olivia told MTV News when asked if she has seen any clips from the film.

“They’ve been very cool about involving us in the process and allowing us to see stuff, but I kind of want to wait until the effects are in because I want to be taken to another place just as the audience will be. I’m waiting for that moment.”

Tron: Legacy is a forthcoming 2010 sci-fi sequel to the 1982 film, Tron. According to the Disney press release, Sam Flynn (played by Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidante (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.
