When did pasty come back? All we seem to have heard this year is “Twilight this” and “Twilight that.” Since the release of 2008′s Twilight, there has been neverending talk about blood-sucking vampires, love between 108-year-olds and a 17-year-olds, and tween heartthrob Robert Pattinson.

But as soon as there was word there would be a sequel, in keeping with the series of novels written by Stephanie Meyer, it all went a bit nuts.

Everyone couldn’t wait to find out whether Robert and Kristen were dating, pictures of Taylor Lautner with his shirt off spread over the Internet like wildfire, and the premier of New Moon was more like a media circus than a civilised red carpet affair.

We’re saying it and we’re sticking to our guns: Twilight is annoying and we couldn’t care less if they did a Harry Potter and made a gazillion sequels.
