AUSTRALIAN übermodel Miranda Kerr lands the September cover for Vogue Italia, her Yorkshire terrier puppy in arms, and in full 3D! We’re guessing this one’s more for the boys…

The cover and accompanying fashion spread featuring the newly-pregnant Victoria Secret angel, shot by Stephen Meisel, forms part of the magazine’s three-dimensional theme for the month, and each copy comes with its own pair of paper glasses for your viewing pleasure.

Miranda poses in outfits by Valentino, Prada, Moschino and Celine, along with accessories like a Cartier watch, Balenciaga cuff and Mulberry handbag. Oh and, of course, Frankie the pup.

Another spread in the issue, titled “The Scent of the Future”and  shot by Tim Walker, is also featured in 3D.

Vogue Italia‘s editor in chief Franca Sozzani said “there is still plenty of room to make print publications more and more interesting” to Bloomberg today.

But note that Vogue Italia is not the first to try out the 3D concept—Isabeli Fontana appeared in Vogue Mexico’s April issue with the technology already.
