FOR the G-Star Raw show at New York Fashion Week, The Incredible Hulk actress Liv Tyler matched her cobalt blue tights to her cardigan, adding a little black satin dress, all courtesy of the designer. She wore no jewellery and fuss-free pumps for her bold statement. Has someone been watching a little too much Avatar?

The actress, who has remained low key for the past two years, is currently filming a new comedy, Super, alongside Kevin Bacon and Ellen Page.

“I’m always working but I took a lot of the past two years off to be with my son and I was going through a lot of personal changes – I love being a mum and it was important I got to spend those years that are so precious and will never come back again with my son Milo,” Liv told Grazia magazine.

The 32-year-old said the time off has done her a world of good.

“I feel grateful for the life lessons that I’ve learnt,” she revealed.

“I definitely feel like I’ve grown up a lot and I’ve gotten to know myself in a new way. Life’s interesting, it’s filled with surprises and , just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, it throws you a curve ball.”

She added: “Scary as it is, it’s also kind of amazing. It’s not easy, but that’s what friends are for.”
