TROUBLED actress Lindsay Lohan, aka Inmate No. 2409752, was escorted into jail this morning, exchanging her SCRAM bracelet for a pair of handcuffs when she reported to the Los Angeles county courthouse at 8.30am.

A source at the prison told media outlets that the 24-year-old didn’t receive a warm welcome at the Century Regional Detention Facility when she arrived because inmates “can’t wait to f**k with her”.

Luckily for Lindsay, she won’t be mingling with the general population anytime soon, and will spend most of her time confined to her 4x3m cell.

There is word that Lindsay may serve as little as 14 days behind bars due to overcrowding but will be likely spend at least three weeks in the slammer.

Looks like her Twitter will be getting a bit of a rest for now…
