LADY Gaga feels like she owes it to her fans to live up to her eccentric popstar image, so she’s vowed never to be caught off-guard by photographers.

She said: ”I would rather die than have my fans not see me in a pair of high heels. I’d never give up my wigs and hats for anything. You see legendary people taking out their trash, I think it’s destroying show business.”

Although she is flattered her fans choose to dress like her, the singer is urging followers to find their own sense of style and celebrate their individuality.

She said: “Be whatever you want to be, it’s not about emulating me…it’s alright to be different.”

Despite a diverse range of celebrity fans  - from Dame Helen Mirren to Megan FoxGaga doesn’t have any famous friends.

She said in a recent interview on UK TV: “I didn’t speak to anyone at the BRITs. I’m an outcast from the music industry, I don’t have any friends in the music business. I feel completely detached from the celebrity world, you never see me falling out of nightclubs.”

The singer also claims her commitment to her work stops her from meeting men, but she thinks she’s too “crazy” for relationships, anyway.

“I don’t have time to get to know anybody, I’m single and alone…nobody would put up with my craziness.”
