PEREZ Hilton expressed his love for the mysterious male model, and fashion stylist Nicola Formichetti remains tight-lipped over the matter.

Nonetheless, a series of images posted on Formichetti’s blog, as well as a tweet from Perez, has sparked frenzy in Lady Gaga‘s fan base.

Why? Because the elusive male model in the spreads, known only as Jo Calderone, looks suspiciously like the “Telephone” hitmaker.

The images, shot by Nick Knight for an upcoming editorial for Vogue Hommes Japan, captures the model in a series of hazy photographs with a James Dean-esque coif and a monochrome wardrobe.

Fans speculate the name Jo comes from Gaga‘s real name, Stefani JOanne Germanotta, and Calderone is a far-fetched wordplay on “Alejandro,” the title of one of the singer’s latest singles.
