LOOKS like Kat let the cat out of the bag!

Tattoo artist Kat von D tweeted on her page (@thekatvond) earlier today, saying: “And yes, Jesse and I are dating.” The message was swiftly deleted off her page, but like tattoos, tweets tend to be hard to erase.

After she was captured on camera spending a cosy weekend in Las Vegas with notorious bad boy Jesse James, Kat tweeted the message only to retract it minutes later. So what’s the deal?

Kat’s publicist tells People that “they did have dinner, but they are just friends”.

But another source insist there’s more to it: “Kat feels bad for him.”

“He’s the most hated man in America, after what he did to Sandra [Bullock], which she finds kind of sexy.”

Kat herself played coy when posed the all-important question on KROQ’s Kevin and Bean Show.

“I’ve known Jesse since he was 22, actually,” she said on the radio interview. “For me, I have a lot of respect for Jesse and how he handled it.”

“I think that I’m his type on a different level than people would assume. Just because I have tattoos doesn’t mean we’re the perfect match.”

We think it’s pretty obvious what’s going on here and, in fact, the couple even have Sandy’s blessing.

“I support Jesse in his move to Austin,” said Sandra to People. “We have both moved on with our lives and only want the best for each other. Anything else that is said on my behalf is inaccurate.”

Go on Jesse, just come clean already!
