DAME Helen Mirren attended Tuesday’s unveiling of the latest addition to London’s Madame Tussauds—her very own doppelganger.

Of course, both Helen and her lookalike looked fabulous at the photocall, with the 64-year-old posing in a fitted rose-embroidered jacket and red dress next to her wax figure.

Helen kindly donated the floor-length Asprey lace gown she wore to the ITV3 Crime Thriller Awards for the figure, completing the astoundingly life-like sculpture that took £150,000 and four months to complete.

Helen was joined by her husband Taylor Hackford at the ceremony, and feigned jealously when he leaned in to kiss the lookalike.

“My husband wants to marry her, I’m much more argumentative than she is,” she joked.

The actress was apparently very involved in the creation process, sitting for more than 300 measurements and a number of reference photographs.

Her figure now stands in the A-List Party room, designed to make visitors to the museum feel like they have stepped into a Hollywood party.
