IN 2004, Daisy Lowe found out, after demanding a paternity test, that rocker Gavin Rossdale is her real father. Mum Pearl later revealed that Daisy was conceived after she had a brief fling with close friend Gavin.

Today, Daisy admits how after years of minimal contact, she is finally grown close to her father—and his new family—in the past few months. Gavin is husband to No Doubt frontwoman Gwen Stefani and is father to her two sons.

Daisy said: “I have a really good relationship with my father.”

“It’s been blossoming for the past year, but it really happened over Christmas when he was here for a month. We got to spend time together. He’s got two beautiful kids who I really adore and his wife is gorgeous,” she explained.

“We’re working on being good mates. I think he’s an intelligent, sweet guy.”
