IT looks like it may well be the end of the road, because Fall Out Boy may have finally fallen out.

After months of speculation, members Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump have confirmed the band is no longer together.

Bassist Wentz said: “As far as I know, Fall Out Boy is on a break. I can’t predict that I’d ever play in Fall Out Boy again.”

“Something would have to change in my head or in my heart – not my wallet. It’d have to be real,” he said.

Meanwhile, frontman Stump told Spin.com, “I’m not in Fall Out Boy right now.”

But the musician, who recently announced plans for a solo album, maintained that the break up was amicable.

He adds: “One way or another, the band will always be around…whether we play again or not, I don’t know. If we do, it will be for the right reasons. If we don’t, it will also be for the right reasons.”
