FACING a US$5 million tax bill, actor Nicolas Cage’s dire financial straits may be temporarily fixed by fellow A-lister Johnny Depp. In a true act of selflessness, the Alice in Wonderland star has reportedly called his old pal and offered “whatever he needs” to get Cage out of the crisis. This is possibly Johnny Depp’s way of paying back Cage who got him his breakthrough role on A Nightmare on Elm Street.
