Chanel Temporary Tatts Sell for $80

CALLING all fashion devotees: for a mere $80, you can be branded with a Chanel logo, for up to a week or so, that is.
Luxury design house Chanel has launched a line of peel-and-stick tattoos, inspired by those applied to models for their Spring/Summer 2010 runway show. Each tattoo works like their cereal box counterpart, and packs contains five small sheets in various gothic designs that last two to three days, depending on where you wear them. Pick from jewellery patterns, cherry blossoms and a blinged-out bird, all sprinkled with Chanel logos.
Student A.J. Panzica said: “They look nice, if you have the money for it.”
But the tattoos rubbed others the wrong way.
“It’s like you’re a billboard for Chanel, but without getting paid,” said 21-year-old construction worker Matt Fabian.
“Coming from someone who has real tattoos, this is lame.”
