THIRTEEN-time Grammy Award winner Beyoncé launched her new fragrance The Heat at Macy’s Herald Square in New York City wearing a stunning, sapphire blue belted Rafael Cennamo dress that cinched her in all the right places. She added silver jewellery and a sexy pair of ruby peep-toe platforms.
Queen B is reportedly set to star in a remake of the classec 1937 film A Star Is Born alongside Russell Crowe. Crowe – in quite an amusing case of life imitating art – is set to play the lead role in the drama about a fading, drunken superstar who finds himself eclipsed by a younger model. The original version starred Fedric March and Janet Gaynor as an aging Hollywood actor and the bright young ingenue he takes under his wing. The movie has already been remade twice, once in 1954 and in 1976.
In this new remake, Nick Cassavetes is pencilled in to direct while the supporting cast will be fleshed out by the likes of Mad Men mainstay John Hamm and singers Alicia Keys and Rihanna.
