OSCAR winner Anna Paquin arrived with fiance Stephen Moyer on her arm in a long, shimmery gold gown by British designer Stella McCartney. The textured frock features a plunging neckline and the capped sleeves add a youthful edge to the glamourous gown. The True Blood actress chose vintage Stephen Russell jewellery and a hardshell clutch by Alexander McQueen to complete her ensemble.

The star, who won an Academy Award at age 11 for her supporting role in The Piano, admits she was so determined to find the perfect frock for the even that she climbed into dozens of dresses before settling on the McCartney creation.

“I tried on about a 100. I’m probably exaggerating,” she said.
