RUNNER-up Adam Lambert aimed for controversy for his first televised performance since American Idol’s season eight finale, with a risque rendition on “For Your Entertainment” from his new album.

Lambert delivered on his promise of a “sexy” show as he closed the live broadcast with simulated oral sex from a male backup dancer and a brief make-out session with his male keyboardist. Rolling Stone reported that the producers weren’t informed of the guy-on-guy kiss.

Lambert said he kissed the straight man “in the moment” and any decision by the broadcasters to censor the performance would amount to “discrimination.” Did we expect any less form the openly gay performer singing the lyrics “Can you handle what I’m about to do?” to the audience?
